Shadowrun, one of the first computer games to take advantage of the “Games for Windows Live” service that offers cross-platform matches between Windows Vista and Xbox 360 gamers, has been reportedly cracked for Windows XP system by a hacking group Razor1911.It appears that Razor1911 has overcome the requirement for DirectX 10 to play Shadowrun in Windows XP.

The group claims that installing the crack is simply a case of overwriting a few files in the installation folder with the ones provided by Razor.

The Inquirer.net wrote that a text file that ships with the crack states: “Tired of waiting for Falling Leaf to produce drivers so that you can play Shadowrun in XP? The wait is over, because Razor1911 already has the remedy! Yes, you read right. This game will also function in Windows XP”.
